The Youth Speech Workshop is part of the CIE/USA-DFW’s Youth English Speech Contest Program. The goal of the event is to stimulate students’ interests and boost their confidence and competence in public speaking. This year, we have invited experienced speakers and evaluators from Texas Dragon Toastmasters club, as well as the 2003 World Champion of Public Speaking, Jim Key, as our guest speaker. The workshop will be held via Zoom Webinar on June 20, 2020 and will be free of charge! The event is hosted by CIE/USA-DFW and organized by Texas Dragon Toastmasters club.

The 2019 DFW Youth English Speech Contest is a CIE-sponsored event. It is a unique opportunity for youths to initiate, research, write, and deliver an address to public audience. 2016 CIE/USA-DFW VEX Robotics Tournament – Nothing But Net Challenge
CIE/USA-DFW will be hosting our second annual VEX Robotics Competition (VRC)! Last year, CIE/USA-DFW successfully hosted the Skyrise VRC regional level competition at Rice Middle School, receiving positive feedback from all participating teams and volunteers. This year we aim to have even more participating teams as we prepare to host the Nothing But Net Challenge (regional level) on February 13th, 2016. The competition will be located at Schimelpfenig Middle School, with 24 teams participating.

TheYAA program is designed to encourage them by recognizing those young students, who have demonstrated so far that they have exceeded in achieving these goals. This particular recognition has proven to be very beneficial to the YAA recipients in their applications to university entrance and also as a good credential record for their career and life. This year we aim to have even more participating teams as we prepare to host the Nothing But Net Challenge (regional level) on February 13th, 2016. The competition will be located at Schimelpfenig Middle School, with 24 teams participating.

The Youth Speech Workshop is part of the CIE/USA-DFW’s Youth English Speech Contest Program. The goal of the event is to stimulate students’ interests and boost their confidence and competence in public speaking. This year, we have invited experienced speakers and evaluators from Texas Dragon Toastmasters club, as well as the 2003 World Champion of Public Speaking, Jim Key, as our guest speaker. The workshop will be held via Zoom Webinar on June 20, 2020 and will be free of charge! The event is hosted by CIE/USA-DFW and organized by Texas Dragon Toastmasters club.

2019 DFW Youth English Speech Contest
The 2019 DFW Youth English Speech Contest is a CIE-sponsored event. It is a unique opportunity for youths to initiate, research, write, and deliver an address to public audience. 2012 CIE/USA-DFW Leadership Assessment and Mentoring Program (LAMP)
The CIE-LAMP, or 2012 CIE-FACSS Leadership Assessment and Mentoring Program Symposium, is co-hosted by Chinese Institute of Engineers/USA DFW Chapter (CIE) and Friendship Association of Chinese Students and Scholars (FACSS) at University of Texas at Dallas.
In additional to the exciting keynote speech, we have redesigned the program\’s panel session to feature \”Live Job Interview\”. We will afford selected candidates live, on-stage mock interview opportunities to interact directly with high-profile panelists from leading companies. Our panelists will conduct mock interview for proposed positions in business, engineering and science. Furthermore, the panelists will discuss the \”hits and misses\” of each candidate\’s interview performance and provide with targeted, well-crafted feedback and interview tips.

2012 CIE/USA-DFW Engineering Business Forum
The Chinese Institute of Engineers – DFW Chapter (CIE-DFW) and the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce (GDAACC) will host the 2012 Engineering Business Forum at the Maribelle Davis Library, 7501 Independence Parkway, Plano, Texas on Friday November 16, 2012. The forum is free and open to the public. The event will begin at 12:30PM and conclude by 4:30PM. The forum seeks to connect minority owned small businesses with major corporate and government buyers who are in need of diversified procurement for engineering services and technology products. Anticipated participants at this year’s event include the U.S. Patent Office, Huawei, DISD, Trinity Infrastructure, Dallas Public Works and Transportation, Hartline Dacus Barger Dreyer LLP and more.

The Youth Speech Workshop is part of the CIE/USA-DFW’s Youth English Speech Contest Program. The goal of the event is to stimulate students’ interests and boost their confidence and competence in public speaking. This year, we have invited experienced speakers and evaluators from Texas Dragon Toastmasters club, as well as the 2003 World Champion of Public Speaking, Jim Key, as our guest speaker. The workshop will be held via Zoom Webinar on June 20, 2020 and will be free of charge! The event is hosted by CIE/USA-DFW and organized by Texas Dragon Toastmasters club.

CIE/USA-DFW will be hosting our second annual VEX Robotics Competition (VRC)! Last year, CIE/USA-DFW successfully hosted the Skyrise VRC regional level competition at Rice Middle School, receiving positive feedback from all participating teams and volunteers. This year we aim to have even more participating teams as we prepare to host the Nothing But Net Challenge (regional level) on February 13th, 2016. 2013 CIE/USA-DFW Annual Convention
The annual convention is a celebration of the services that CIE/USA-DFW has delivered to the DFW community, and to affirm the partnership we have with industry, universities, government and community in which our members live and work. 2013 CIE/USA-DFW MathComp/MathFun
The MathComp/MathFun is the annual flagship youth program organized by the Chinese Institute of Engineers/USA, Dallas Fort-Worth Chapter. It attracted participation of about a thousand students, parents, educators and volunteers each year.
This grand math fair is composed of a math competition, a math fun fair and a parenting seminar. It will be held on June 15, 2013 (Saturday) 12:00pm - 5:00 pm at the Collin College, Spring Creek Campus at the Conference Center.

2013 CIE/USA-DFW Leadership Assessment and Mentoring Program (LAMP)
The 2013 CIE Leadership Assessment and Mentoring Program (LAMP) will be held at the Hoblitzelle Hall Auditorium, HH 2.402 of University of Texas at Dallas at 1:30pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, April 20, 2013. The event is free and open to the public. All are welcome to attend. This event is especially designed for graduating university students and young professionals who desire to enhance their knowledge and hand-on experience on hiring process, career development, corporate culture, and leadership.

2012 CIE/USA-DFW Engineering Business Forum
The Chinese Institute of Engineers - DFW Chapter (CIE-DFW) and the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce (GDAACC) will host the 2012 Engineering Business Forum at the Maribelle Davis Library, 7501 Independence Parkway, Plano, Texas on Friday November 16, 2012. The forum is free and open to the public. The event will begin at 12:30PM and conclude by 4:30PM. The forum seeks to connect minority owned small businesses with major corporate and government buyers who are in need of diversified procurement for engineering services and technology products. Anticipated participants at this year’s event include the U.S. Patent Office, Huawei, DISD, Trinity Infrastructure, Dallas Public Works and Transportation, Hartline Dacus Barger Dreyer LLP and more.

The CIE-LAMP, or 2012 CIE-FACSS Leadership Assessment and Mentoring Program Symposium, is co-hosted by Chinese Institute of Engineers/USA DFW Chapter (CIE) and Friendship Association of Chinese Students and Scholars (FACSS) at University of Texas at Dallas.
In additional to the exciting keynote speech, we have redesigned the program\'s panel session to feature \"Live Job Interview\". We will afford selected candidates live, on-stage mock interview opportunities to interact directly with high-profile panelists from leading companies. Our panelists will conduct mock interview for proposed positions in business, engineering and science. Furthermore, the panelists will discuss the \"hits and misses\" of each candidate\'s interview performance and provide with targeted, well-crafted feedback and interview tips.

The annual MathComp is a very popular math competition, providing young students of Grade 1-7 the opportunity to demonstrate their math problem solving skills. MathFun is an interactive program allowing parent/children to work together in solving math and engineering quizzes and games which stimulate the students\' interest in mathematics. Students from Grade 1 to 7 in the Spring Semester of 2012 are invited to register for the competition and enjoy the fun. 2010 CIE/USA-DFW Young Achiever Awards
The CIE Young Achiever Award (YAA) is part of the CIE Youth Programs held each year. It is designed to encourage the young generation of the CIE community to achieve academic excellence, to participate in extracurricular activities and community services, and to develop leadership skills in the early stage of their life. The YAA program achieves these goals through special recognition of the students who have demonstrated high level of excellence in the above areas, through recommendations from the various sources with which we could evaluate their achievements. This particular recognition has proven to be very beneficial to the YAA recipients in their applications to colleges and universities, as well as a powerful credential for their careers down the road.
