2024 CIE Tagline Logo Contest

August 15, 2024

2024 CIE Tagline/Logo Contest

2024 is the 35th anniversary of the CIE/USA-DFW chapter serving the local community. We are excited to announce a tagline/logo contest. We are looking for you to help us create a long-standing tagline/logo that aligns with our values, our mission, and our vision for the future. The tagline should be short, catchy and reinforce our goals.

CIE/USA-DFW chapter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit professional organization in the DFW area. Our official name is “Chinese Institute of Engineers/USA, Dallas-Fort-Worth Chapter”.

The mission of the CIE/USA-DFW Chapter is to enable the growth of current and aspiring engineers and technologists by providing a platform for technical exchange, professional networking, and STEM awareness.

Our vision is to be the premier organization where professionals, students, parents, and volunteers come together to foster professional networking, personal development, and STEM awareness.

Our programs and membership are open to any person, regardless of race, creed, color, or nationality.

A tagline is a short, easily remembered phrase that a company uses in its advertisements, especially on television or the internet, so that people will recognize it.

Our logo shows as a Chinese seal in a USA map. Our logo represents us a group of Asian Americans contributing to the engineering society and local community.

We are proud of our history and our identities, and we strive for excellence. Please share with us “Who We Are” in your mind in a simple phrase or sentence. Please keep it short <10 words.

For the logo contest, it can be a special 35th-anniversary logo or a customized logo representing the local DFW chapter. We are open to the best ideas if you have a compelling design. We reserve the right not to award a winner in this category.

If selected, the winner will be announced at the 2024 CIE/USA-DFW annual convention, the tagline and/or logo will be used on the ciedfw.org website and its publications. A prize will be awarded in exchange for its copyright, solely for CIE/USA-DFW chapter use.

Please submit your ideas and artwork by August 15, 2024, to enter the contest. Three submissions are allowed.
